Turpin High school students have placed one at their school, Forest Park, Harrison and Reading also have pantries. There is also interest in Northern Ky. Keep 'em coming

Visit a pantry to donate/receive non-perishable items. People's Pantry Cincy was made possible by a grant through People's Liberty. We chose 10, low income, food desert neighborhoods to receive a mini food pantry. Pantries are made from upcycled single copy news boxes, donated by the Enquirer and the Cincinnati Herald. Boxes were rehabbed and designed/decorated by 10 local artists. They are placed near rec centers, gardens, churches and schools for safe access. A neighborhood "champion" engages with his/her neighborhood to promote the pantry and request donations from the community. Anyone can access the box 24/7. The aim is to reduce hunger, increase community engagement and reduce the stigma of using SNAP.
